You may know that Ecuador was struck by a 7.8 Richter-scale earthquake last April 16. This is the worst natural tragedy that Ecuador has suffered within the last decades. The death toll is over 700 people. Many people have lost everything. Water, food and other goods are desperately needed. The whole country is pulling together with donations and assistance. But much more is needed, particularly water. Relying on bottled water is not sustainable economically or environmentally. However, mobile water filters can help the Ecuadorian people cope with this urgent problem.

Our goal is to reach at least 100 family filters by the end of May 2016. Each family filter can benefit a family of four for up to three years providing 18,000 litres of pure water.
